Being functional means being coordinated, strong, flexible, agile, and resilient. To achieve these results, it is necessary to know one's physical condition and differentiate the training in such a way as to stimulate the person to acquire a motor and bodily pattern that is increasingly reactive and effective.
Target audience
Functional Training is aimed not only at professional athletes but also at all people who want to stay in shape or increase their potential following an injury if the training is part of a rehabilitation and functional re-education process.
How it works
Functional Training involves not only personal trainers but also physiatrists, orthopedic specialists, osteopaths, and physiotherapists.
After a general assessment, exercises and tests are proposed: functional tests, flexibility tests, balance tests, and core stability tests, which are used to set up a functional training plan. As part of the program, nutritional advice is also provided.
